When the time came for the deliverance of the nation of Israel out of Egypt, “the house of bondage” (Exodus 13:3, 14), God gave Moses specific instructions concerning the means of deliverance, most of you know those details, so, I won’t take the time. What I do want to highlight is this, the Feast of Passover originated in the “passing over” of the angel of death.

The very title “Pesach” translated as “Passover”, means “a passing over”, or “to pass or hover over”. A double thought is involved in this word. There is the thought of the “passing over” in judgment of the death angel, but also the thought of “hovering over” in Divine protection. Thus, judgment and mercy are linked in this Passover Feast according to the faith and obedience or the unbelief and disobedience of the persons in each household.

The Feast of Passover was to be the new month of beginnings for Israel. It became the first month of the sacred year for the nation. God changed the calendar for them! He introduced a new calendar for them, in a new beginning. The Feast was therefore the foundation of their experience in God. The very fact that it took place in the first month, the beginning of the months, showed that God had more in mind for them in the months that lay ahead. Read that again!

The Israelites left Egypt in the first month of the first year. That’s the time when the Passover was first instituted (Exodus 12). The cloud filled the Tabernacle in Exodus 40 on the first day of the first month of the second year after their exodus from Egypt. This marks the beginning of the second year.

So when Numbers 9 talks about the second Passover (the one in the second month), it happens in the second year of their wilderness journey. This is where the issue of the unclean people comes up, and God gives provision for them to celebrate a second chance Passover in the second month, if they missed the first one.

The “second year” is important because, after that first year at Mount Sinai (where they received the law and built the Tabernacle), the Israelites are now on the verge of starting their journey toward the Promised Land. The instructions and guidelines about the Tabernacle and the cloud give us a pattern for their movement forward.

King Hezekiah – Partakes of the Second Passover

Hezekiah held the second Passover because the people of Judah were not ready to observe it at the proper time (2 Chronicles 30).

Don’t miss this! The 2nd chance was provided by God in the 2nd year of the wilderness journey (1445 BC.), for King Hezekiah to use in re-establishing worship to Yahweh (715 BC.).

1445 BC – 715 BC = 730 years later

Before Hezekiah became king, Judah had fallen into idolatry under King Ahaz. The temple was closed, and the priest and Levites were not prepared for proper worship (2 Chron. 29:3-7)

When Hezekiah restored temple worship, there weren’t enough sanctified priests in time for the regular Passover (2 Chron. 30:3).

Hezekiah wanted to invite all of Israel, including the northern tribes, to return to the Lord and celebrate Passover together (2 Chron. 305-6). Because of the Assyrian conquest, many Israelites had been scattered, but Hezekiah still extended an invitation.

God allowed those who were (ritually) unclean or on a journey during Passover to observe it in the second month. Hezekiah applied this provision to the whole nation since they were spiritually unprepared.

This event marked a major spiritual revival in Judah, showing Hezekiah’s heart for God and his desire to reunite God’s people in worship.

The after-effect of the Passover revival was that Hezekiah removed the high places, making him one of Judah’s most faithful reformers. His actions were a direct effort to restore pure worship of God and eliminate idolatry. The people followed Hezekiah’s lead and aggressively tore down every one of them! The battle this year (5785) is for the high places. A portal is opening from heaven with a sword for us to use, so don’t fear the exposure. God’s supernatural strategies, weapons, and victories will become the norm in the days ahead (“High Place” video to follow).

The original Passover was a prophetic picture of what Jesus would accomplish. Fast forward to the New Testament, and John the Baptist declares, “Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). Jesus became our spotless Lamb who was sinless and pure. His blood, shed on the cross, wasn’t just for temporary deliverance; it was for eternal redemption. Jesus didn’t just observe Passover, He embodied it. On the very night He was betrayed, during the Passover meal, He broke bread and shared wine, revealing Himself as the true meaning behind it all.

Please meditate on Hebrews 12:18-28 (TPT) as it reminds us that we’ve moved from law to grace, from fear to freedom, from Sinai to Zion. We’ve been given an unshakable kingdom, and our response should be worship, gratitude, and reverence for the One who made it all possible. (Study the TPT footnotes…mind-blowing!)

“For we are not coming, as Moses did, to a physical mountain with its burning fire, thick clouds of darkness and gloom, and with a raging whirlwind. We are not those who are being warned by the jarring blast of a trumpet and the thundering voice, the fearful voice that they begged to be silenced. They couldn’t handle God’s command that said,

“If so much as an animal approaches the mountain, it is to be stoned to death!”

The astounding phenomena Moses witnessed caused him to shudder with fear, and he could only say, “I am trembling in terror!”

By contrast, we have already come near to God in a different realm, the Zion-realm, for we have entered the city of the Living God, which is the New Jerusalem in heaven! We have joined the festal gathering of myriads of angels in their joyous celebration!

And as members of the ekklesia of the Firstborn, all our names have been legally registered as citizens of heaven! And we have come before God, who judges all, and who lives among the spirits of the righteous who have been made perfect in his eyes!

And we have come to Jesus, who established a new covenant with his blood sprinkled upon the mercy seat; blood that continues to speak from heaven, “forgiveness,” a better message than Abel’s blood that cries from the earth, “justice.”

Make very sure that you never refuse to listen to God when he speaks! For the God who spoke on earth from Sinai is the same God who now speaks from heaven. Those who heard him speak his living Word on earth found nowhere to hide, so what chance is there for us to escape if we turn our backs on God and refuse to hear his warnings as he speaks from heaven?

The earth was rocked at the sound of his voice from the mountain, but now he has promised,

“Once and for all, I will not only shake the systems of the world,

But also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!”

Now this phrase ‘once and for all’ clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakable will remain. Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom, we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire.”

“Passing Over” (Judgment of the Spirit of Death)

As I flew in yesterday through the storm, I saw what looked like half of a ball, like a bubble, over the people of God. Like a shell, in a dome shape, and I looked up and thought, oh, they look quite nicely protected under that, that looks good. And I saw some blues, which I knew was the Holy Spirit, so I knew that the Houston area had some degree of the movement of the Spirit. And then I saw orange, and I thought, oh, okay, they’ve got some perseverance, but then it was putrefied orange, and I thought, oh no, they’re all human effort and human energy more than anything else. That’s why you’re all so tired. And I saw that become a dome of a cap over the Church in Houston, and I think beyond for most of Texas, but certainly starting here.

And I said to the Lord, “How do you want to bless these people, because you have favor. You can’t have that size of an economy (Houston) and not have favor and a love of God. And I could feel the passion of God for you. And the Lord said this, I will take the arrows from heaven that are Kingdom arrows, and I will break their shell of protection, for their shell of protection is an angry shell they raised because they wanted to maintain their current positions at all costs. And the Lord says, the remnant in Houston became angry against any challenge, but that meant they rejected the challenge of the Spirit. And I saw arrows shoot through your “maintain and protect” shell.

The Kingdom is advancing, you do know that it’s never in a state of “maintain and protect.” So, if God says a people are in maintain and protect, you know that’s sin. Yep! Because the Kingdom of God is advancing, meaning it is in continual growth and change. So, when a church is digging its heels in to protect and defend what they’ve got, they are in rebellion against the essence of the Kingdom. And the Lord says, I will send you a gift, arrows, to break your protective defense. I will give you the arrows of Kingdom culture. I will give you the Kingdom movement. I will give you Kingdom principles. But these arrows that I fire at you, Houston, will destroy your shell. And it will feel like you are exposed.

And the Lord started to show me your three structures that work together that brought you into oppression. This is a very sober word. Number one is patriarchy, number two is oligarchy, empire dictatorship, and number three is your evangelicalism. All of those are sin structures.

Hovering Over” (Mercy of Divine Protection)

And I say to you, “Create a dome of My protection” over that city, over its surroundings, when I say Houston, I mean the ten cities that surround it. Know that the enemy would love to pierce the dome of protection that I AM longing to see formed over that entire region.

I say to you, “Go as far as Port Arthur and then go as far as Corpus Christi and create a dome of protection.” I say, “Ready yourself, I will come through the dome first, saith the Lord. If you receive me through the dome I will begin to war on your behalf when the enemy tries to pierce the dome.

I say, “Ready yourself for in the next four years I want to see this dome formed and I want people who drive under this dome to know that in this particular territory, ‘I AM in your midst!’”

I say, “I will send many to you to come in and experience Me there. There will be great changes in the church of Houston.” And I say, “Watch because the church you see now is not the church you will see, and those who try to keep the church intact as it is, I will begin to deal with them, saith the Lord.”

For I say, “I must have a whole territory, I must have this whole region called America.” And I say, “Ready yourself because you are My target first, before the enemy targets you.”

Now put the picture of the dome up on the screen, so you can see what is looks like in the Spirit of God. The stubborn idolatrous spirit of the gatekeeper is going to break off this region, and we want to be able to move forward and move into what the Lord is going to be doing here. And it is just amazing!

Now, when you are processing revelation, don’t let your brain mess it up; put it together like a puzzle. I just made a list of key statements that the Spirit has said since we have been here. Then you put it together, and before long, you are going to see what you need to see, and it is so key.

This is very key, the dome picture, it’s the interlocking dimension that becomes so important as we move forward in this area. In other words, He is interlocking triangles, which will create a completion of an area, securing the future. And the warring came around the dome, but it was overpowered by the glory of God, once it was built. And then it can come and fill the dome inside. Now, if the glory came around it, this area was protected for the future, so it is really important that we see it. (Now) Notice that it goes all the way up to Waco, Corpus, Galveston, and Lake Charles; it is an area that God is looking at.
