Operation: Secure the Gates
is a call to action, a corporate call for the sons and daughters of the Kingdom to come together and ask God to use us to be the change. God is moving His people into a re-alignment of His will. This is a strategic movement on His part for Houston. Houston was once given the opportunity to host His presence, but it was not received. We are here to birth reformation and transformation that will feed upon revival and the foundation can only be built through prayer; the partnership with God to build by the Spirit. We are going to need to be filled to overflowing with the Word of God (logos) and His prophetic promises (rhema) if we are going to fully step into the new assignments He has for us “AS ONE”.
The Spirit of the Living God spoke, “There is a nation in your loins, and you will birth a nation. God is giving you the authority to address giants who are stopping it. There will be a grassroots movement from Texas that will be seen throughout the nation and the giant will be addressed. It will be known from Texas a nation was birthed, a nation went to war, and a nation had the victory.” (Chuck Pierce)
This is our mandate, Texas! The birthing place is between the loins and the greater Houston region is the Birthplace of Texas. We are called to birth a nation! What happens in the Decapolis (Greater Houston region) is not for the region, nor the state but for the nation, to effect nations.
“Hallelujah! I heard the Spirit of the Lord say over this region (Birthplace) that this region is pregnant with twins, and the twins are reformation and transformation. The Lord says you are going to get your city back. There is an exposure coming in government and God has moved the line. The enemy had moved the line, but God says, I’ve moved the line back to My place and I have dropped a plumb bob over Houston and over the region. And the Lord says these twins of transformation and reformation are being released and as you begin to release this, neither one will be stillborn, but they will come out and they will come forward to bring this hammer and the sword of the Lord in your region.” (Greg Hood)
“I’m going to give insight that your warfare is not against flesh and blood that you’ll lift it beyond; it is not people with names, but that it be lifted up to where Jesus talks about in John 18:36, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” (Kerry Kirkwood)
True reformation is an act of God whereby in His covenant love He directs His people back to His Word and to the proper worship of Him. The Bible stresses that reform comes by the grace of God. It is not for the glory of man but for the glory of God’s holy name that He causes reformation. In Nehemiah we read that God brings about changes in order that He may make his name dwell among his people again.
Nehemiah 1:7-11 “We have acted very corruptly against you and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, and the rules that you commanded your servant Moses. Remember the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples, but if you return to me and keep my commandments and do them, though your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them to the place that I have chosen, to make my name dwell there.’ They are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power and by your strong hand. O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.”
There is great power when we, corporately plead the promises of God. Notice how God promises to regather His people no matter how far they’ve been scattered, “the uttermost parts of heaven.” The movement of Holy Spirit that was blocked, in the earlier 1900’s, through religion and racism will now be revisited. 2 Peter 3:9 states “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. This is a powerful way to come to God, asking Him to remember His promises. God delights in our asking and often demands it before prayer becomes effective. In Psalm 81:10 God says to His people, Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. God will not open His storehouse (treasury) until we open our mouths in asking Him to perform His promises.
Transformation in Romans 12:2 has the meaning of “being changed into another form.” It is a total change by the renewing of the mind. It is a complete change for the better. It is a complete change, but is not conforming, but rather transforming by being changed into a new creation. There are deep convictions, long-lost biblical teachings that are about to have significant consequences on how we operate in the Kingdom of God. They will cause changes to the structure or form of the existing church or rather the ekklesia. Religion and racism are being uprooted! The Kingdom of God is at hand, and it’s contagious!
“In the vision, I then saw that each soldier (king) was given both a hammer and a sword. I then heard the Lord say, This is a Nehemiah moment, a window of time to restore, rebuild and tear down the principalities of long-withstanding strongholds over regions and culture. God is positioning these soldiers (kings), His remnant, realigning them and moving them into unusual battle formations. I saw many being handed divine keys in this hour, while continuing to hold onto their hammer and sword. These keys would open up new assignments in earthly realms…Trust me in this hour, for I am setting you up for victory, and it will come swiftly. My swift hand of justice will cause you to rebuild in a moment, what was torn down over many generations.” (Christy Johnson)

So what’s your piece? We all have a part given by Holy Spirit. Houston, you are the nations, from every tribe and tongue, that is a stunningly beautiful display of diversity, just like Galatian 3:28 exclaims, “In God’s family there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male or female. We are all one in Christ Jesus.” Your voice matters so bring your portion and let’s secure the gates, “AS ONE!”
